Crafted by Kosen Kiln, a long-established pottery studio in Imari, Saga Prefecture, this beautiful rice bowl showcases the refined tradition and craftsmanship of Nabeshima ware.
The bowl is coated in a celadon glaze made from highly pure natural celadon ore found exclusively in Okawachiyama, Imari. Its soft blue-green colour and gentle lustre create an elegant, translucent beauty reminiscent of polished jade.
With its low, stable foot and versatile shape, this bowl is perfect not only for serving rice but also for fruit, yoghurt, side dishes and other everyday foods.
