The plate is finished with a celadon glaze made from highly pure natural celadon ore found exclusively in Okawachiyama, Imari. Its soft blue-green colour and luminous transparency create an elegant beauty reminiscent of polished jade.
Shaped like a chrysanthemum, the delicate contours of the plate create subtle variations in the glaze, allowing light and colour to gently shift across its surface.
