The gently curved handle fits well in the hand and has been designed and handcrafted by local artisans. There may be individual variations in shape, wood grain, and color, but these are part of the charm of natural materials.
Teak wood has a yellowish-brown color that gradually matures with use, developing a more subdued hue over time. As the oil content diminishes over time, occasional maintenance with beeswax or commercially available drying oils (such as linseed oil or flaxseed oil) will enhance its rich patina.

- Do not soak in water or hot water for extended periods
- After washing, immediately wipe away moisture and store in a well-ventilated area
- Do not put in a dishwasher or dryer. These are untreated natural woods. High-temperature washing in a dishwasher or powerful drying in a dryer may cause warping or cracking

If the surface feels dry, applying beeswax will bring out a shine. You can also use dry oils like linseed oil or sesame oil from your kitchen as substitutes
